Dress and accoutrement
Here is my fun, flirty, perfect for a city hall wedding, dress. It took a pretty excruciating day of shopping with my mother to find this dress but boy is it cute. Totally not what I thought I would get. I had my heart set on a J Crew dress. But, I went to Kleinfeld, happen to have this Vineyard dress written down on a piece of paper with a couple others I liked, and I fell in love. I got all teary and everybody wanted my dress and it was great.
Sorta crappy pics from my first fitting are below. All they have to do is take in a little bit and put in some cups so I don't have to wear a bra. I tried to convince the seamstress to give me extra in the cups so I would be a C/D but she didn't really go for it. Oh well...

Shoes
I never thought I'd say this, but finding wedding shoes was the bane of my existence. Every shoe I fell in love with either didn't come in any of my colors (and I really wanted a shoe that was a color) or wasn't in my size or cost at least $300 and it is absolutely drove me insane. Eventually, I realized that a non-ivory shoe just wasn't in the cards and I ordered these Martinez Valeros. When I tried them on with my dress at my final fitting, they were just perfect. As a bonus, Christian loves them.
I really hope that on the wedding day when Christian sees that I'm wearing a short dress with my shoes out for all the world to see he will finally understand why this tiny detail of shoes has been so important to me. And why I was a total maniac who ordered and returned at least 5 pairs of shoes.
I also got these silver flats from J Crew for the end of the night when I just can't take the heels anymore.

Stuff on my head
I have this birdcage veil with pearl edging and a feather fascinator to wear in my hair. I'm wearing the veil scrunched to the side with the fascinator. I've tried to take pics but, sadly, the poor lighting of my apartment isn't really conducive to pictures of ivory netting.
For jewelry, I'm wearing some faux pearl earrings Christian bought me at the Ralph Lauren outlet last year. And, I'm almost certain Christian is giving me a bracelet for my wedding present. Score.

Clutch
I really wanted a new clutch for the wedding. I had been stalking several on Etsy. Then, I realized I convinced my mom to let me have this snazzy little clutch a couple years ago. So, I'm going to be a big girl, accept the fact that I can't buy everything that I want for the wedding, and use this clutch. It is really pretty and I think it'll look great with everything else I'm wearing that day.
Groom's attire
Christian will be wearing a navy blue suit, white shirt, gray cotton tie from J Crew and a boutonniere from Etsy seller aaliciawedding. The bout she is making for Christian will be gray, pink and ivory in the style below.
Bridesmaids and Groomsmen
The BMs and GM are wearing whatever dress/suit they want.
Rehearsal dinner dress
Got it off Bluefly. Of course, it went even further on sale the day after it arrived. FML.
It's really pretty and flattering on. If it's chilly that night, I'll just throw on a cardigan. I'm also planning on taking this dress to Greece with us for the HM.
